We purchased the Panasonic phone system about a month ago and are very pleased with the features and more importantly, the performance of the phones. The four handsets are conveniently scattered about the house and the audible caller ID prevents us from having to look at the phone to know who is calling. The scheduled "silence the ringer at night" feature is great. I don't have to remember to turn it off every night and back on in the morning. I also love the way the phonebook is shared by all the phones. You don't have to enter numbers into each handset. I chose to buy the new version due to the expense of replacing hand sets for the older phone. I like the shape and weight of the new hand sets and the blinking light when there's a message. The display is harder to read than the old one and the soft keys are more difficult to press.
